Located in downtown Detroit, the Greystone Ballroom was once among the most popular entertainment joints around and one of the few venues that provided the opportunity for people of all races to enjoy music together in a time of racial segregation and discrimination. Today, the Greystone International Hall of Fame houses a museum dedicated to the history and legacy of jazz, with music, videos and exhibits that commemorate jazz greats and keep the spirit of jazz alive.
